Radcliffe gym owner has sound equipment seized

A Radcliffe gym owner has had his noisy sound system seized after repeatedly causing a nuisance to residents despite being served with a noise abatement notice. The owner continued to play the loud music during his classes, causing stress and anxiety, and Bury Council environmental health officers found the noise was going on seven days a week.Officers obtained a warrant to entrer the business and seized three speakers and an amplifier, which will be retained by the council, pending a prosecution for the noise abatement notice breach.
