New Amazon Fresh store in Westmont

The new 35,000-square-foot Amazon Fresh grocery store opens Thursday in Westmont. It’s Amazon’s fifth in Illinois and the third nationwide to use the “just walk out” technology, which uses cameras and other sensors to track items as customers pick them up and add them to a virtual shopping cart.
